Islamabad to China City Bus Service |
The private bus service of Pakistan has announced to start service between Islamabad and Tashkorgan city of China after Eid al-Fitr.

A representative of the company told GwadarPro that the service from Islamabad to Tashkorgan will start on May 13, 2023, in the first phase, a mini Yutong bus with a capacity of 28 seats will be operated.
According to the representative, this trip will be about 38 hours including the immigration process, passengers will also stay for one night at the Sost border, and the fare is estimated at 60 thousand rupees.
Essential requirements for travel include original passport/copy, original visa/copy, valid visa, and China invitation letter (visa category).
The launch of this service has been widely welcomed by Pakistanis who wanted to travel to China by land.
Secretary of Pakistan Alpine Club Karar Hydari says that this initiative will promote tourism in the region.
In 2019, the said company started a bus service between Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Tashkorgan, China, but due to COVID-19, it was interrupted.
It should be noted that in November 2018, a company called North-South Transport Network announced the start of a bus service from Lahore to Kashgar in China and introduced luxury and comfortable buses for this journey.
